Unlike rose-flavoured black, green or oolong tea, French Pink Rose Buds is a single-ingredient floral infusion. The whole dried buds gradually absorb water and open during brewing, allowing their soft rose fragrance to become the main focus.

The infusion is designed for customers who prefer light floral drinks rather than a strong or astringent tea. It may be enjoyed on its own or blended in small amounts with other floral and herbal ingredients.

Aroma and Taste

The first sip is light and gentle, with a subtle rose fragrance. As the buds continue to infuse, the floral aroma becomes more noticeable while the taste remains clean and smooth. The finish is soft, leaving a light rose fragrance after drinking.

Brewing Guide

• Rose buds: Approximately 4–6 buds
• Water volume: Approximately 400–500ml
• Water temperature: 85°C or above
• Infusion time: Approximately 3–5 minutes
• Brewing method: Hot infusion
• Recommended teaware: Heat-resistant clear glass, glass pot or filtered teapot

Standard method: Pre-warm the teaware and add approximately 4–6 rose buds. Pour in approximately 400–500ml of water at 85°C or above. Infuse for about 3 minutes and taste. Extend the infusion to approximately 5 minutes for a fuller floral aroma.

Later infusions: Add hot water again and extend the infusion gradually according to the remaining fragrance. The size and dryness of the flower buds may vary, so the final strength can be adjusted to personal preference.

Pairing suggestion: Add a small amount of chrysanthemum buds or rosemary for additional herbal complexity. Honey may be added after the infusion has cooled slightly for a softer, lightly sweet taste.

Storage
